Parental leave checklist for managers

Retaining employees is becoming a priority for employers as the talent pool starts shrink. Retaining working parents should be a priority and it doesn't have to be difficult. Showing that you care and identifying how you will stay in touch are key to their return. More info

Talk to us about our Working Parents Toolkit or our Parental Leave Program Toolkit.

Tip for new 'Right to request flexibility' law

Create a 'flexible work panel'. Managers typically don't have a thorough understanding of flexible work practices or how to manage a flexible workforce. Talk to us about our Flexible Work Proposal Toolkit for all employees. It provides your business with a solution to managing employees' flexibility requests. More info

Media Call - SBS Insight Program

The Insight Program is currently preparing a program that will look at what women want. They would like to hear from professional women to get their view on what it's like being a working woman in today's society.

Is it really possible to have it all? How do women balance motherhood and a career? Is the workplace doing enough to support women? Do modern women still want the dream career or are they choosing home over the workplace? if you would like to contribute, email anne.worthington@sbs.com.au
